STEP International Sustainability Conference 2026
The STEP International Sustainability Conference (STEP ISC 2026) is the academic track of the STEP Global Summit, bringing together educators, researchers, policymakers, and practitioners working for a resilient planet. This hybrid event will be hosted in Colombo, Sri Lanka; the conference blends scholarly exchange with actionable innovation, bridging academia and practice.
STEP ISC 2026 is designedfor faculty, researchers, and students to present research and review papers, case studies, and policy briefson various sustainability-related themes.Abstracts will be showcased in the 'Conference Proceedings’. Selected peer-reviewed, full-length papers will be published in esteemed, indexed, edited books by international publishers or in special issues of Scopus/Web of Science-indexed, ABDC-indexed Journals.

Abstract Submission Guidelines
Participants are invited to submit their abstracts on the themes and associated topics. Abstracts should be concise, within 250-300 words, in English, using Times New Roman font size 12.
Abstracts will be showcased in the ‘Conference Proceedings'. Peer-reviewed full-length papers will be published in esteemed indexed Edited Books by International Publishers or special issues of UGC care/Scopus-indexed Journals.
Abstract Decision
All the abstracts will be peer-reviewed by subject matter experts to ensure academic rigour, transparency and fairness. Authors will be notified of the review outcome within one week of submission. The Scientific Committee reserves the right to determine the final mode of presentation.
Presentation Awards
All presenters will be assessed during the event by an expert academic paneland awards will be given to the most outstanding presenters of the conference under various categoriesat the awards ceremony.
